Membership and Classes:
What are the different membership options available? We have a range of membership available, starting from £28.00 per month. To view our full range, please visit our pricing page. Alternatively you can pay as you go via our app.
Do you offer a trial? The club offers a trial period of your first 4 classes for a reduced fee. You can enrol here.
How often are classes held, and what is the schedule? We have group kickboxing classes Mondays through Saturdays. To view all our class times, please visit here.
Are there different levels of classes available for beginners and advanced practitioners? Yes, we offer classes tailored to different experience levels, including under 1 year, mixed abilities, over 1 year, and specific kata forms.
Can I attend multiple classes per week with my membership? Yes, you can attend as many classes per week as you like, subject to your membership.
Instructors and Training:
Who are the instructors, and what are their qualifications? All our lead and senior instructors are minimum 1st dan black belts, and our class assistants are minimum senior purple belts. For full details about our instructors, please visit here.
What style(s) of martial arts do you teach? We practice American freestyle karate and kickboxing.
How do you ensure the safety of participants during training? All our class leads have undertaken extensive training throughout their personal martial arts journey. Each instructor needs to follow our club’s health and safety procedures, such as risk assessments for general, young people and covid, privacy policy, safeguarding policy. Each lead instructor must obtain and DBS certificate and our facility has 1 qualified first aider (Emergency First Aid at Work + sports specific injuries)
Facilities and Equipment:
What facilities and amenities are available at the club? Our purpose-built facility includes a large matted area, boxing ring, variety of punch bags, focus pads, strike shields, and a shop for purchasing equipment. We also have a gym area with aerobic and strength training equipment.
Do I need to bring my own equipment, or is it provided? We recommend bringing your own equipment, but we also provide equipment at the club.
Are there changing rooms and showers available? Yes, we have changing rooms and a shower room available for use.
Is there a designated area for spectators or parents? Yes, we have benches available for parents to watch classes.
Policies and Procedures:
What is the cancellation policy for classes or memberships? Cancellations require 28 days notice.
Are there any age or health requirements to participate? The minimum age we teach is 6 years old. Please inform us of any specific health requirements.
How do I report an injury or incident that occurs during training? The facility maintains an accident and emergency book.
Are there any rules or codes of conduct I need to follow while at the club? Yes, this information is available in the club's license book.

Do you offer private lessons or specialised training sessions? Yes, we offer personal training and sports-specific coaching.

Billing and Payments:
How and when do I pay for my membership or classes? Memberships are paid monthly, usually around the 28th. We also offer a pay-as-you-go option via our app.
Is there a discount for paying upfront for a longer-term membership? Yes, we provide discounted memberships for members paying by monthly direct debit. Unlimited members receive free access to the gym facilities outside of class time.
Can I put my membership on hold if I need to take a break from training? Yes, memberships can be paused with 28 days notice.
