Early Belts – Building Strong Foundations

Our Yellow, Orange, Red, and Green belt students showed fantastic energy, focus, and enthusiasm throughout their grading. These early stages are all about learning strong fundamentals, building confidence, and developing discipline — all of which were clearly demonstrated on the day.

Every student rose to the challenge and should be incredibly proud of their progress.

Purple Belt – A Key Milestone

Purple belt represents a significant step forward in any student’s journey. It reflects improved technical ability, consistency in training, and a growing understanding of martial arts principles.

Rosie, Sammy, Nikolas, Detroit, and Majid all showed great effort and determination, demonstrating how far they have come through consistent training and commitment.

Blue Belt – Growing Confidence and Skill

Annie, Gurbani, and Izzy delivered strong performances and showed clear development in both technique and application.

Annie and Izzy were particularly impressive in their kata work, showing precision, preparation, and attention to detail. Gurbani also demonstrated progress, especially in her kata, alongside a growing confidence in her overall performance.

All three continue to develop their sparring, an area that will naturally improve with time, experience, and consistency.

Brown Belt – Senior Progression and High Standards

Our Brown Belt students reached a major milestone in their martial arts journey.

Oliver showed great character in overcoming nerves and performing strongly under pressure - an important skill in martial arts development.

Rachel delivered an excellent overall performance, demonstrating strong technical ability and outstanding sparring, particularly in her rounds against experienced opponents.

Nico’s Senior Brown Belt grading reflected his persistence, focus, and long-term commitment to training. His progress continues to show real growth in confidence and ability.

Brown belt represents years of effort, learning, and development, and all three students should be extremely proud of what they have achieved.

A Day of Real Progress

Every belt earned on the day represents countless hours of training, repetition, learning, and personal growth.

It was fantastic to see every student rise to the challenge and perform to such a high standard. These achievements are not just about grading day - they are the result of consistent effort over time.

At Elemental Kickboxing Leeds, we are incredibly proud of every student who graded. Each promotion reflects commitment, resilience, and a willingness to improve.

Now the focus shifts forward - keep training hard, stay consistent, support each other, and continue building on the strong foundations you’ve created.

Congratulations to all students who graded. This is just one step in a much bigger journey.
