EKA Club Committee Returns in 2026 – Get Involved!

We’re thrilled to announce that Elemental Kickboxing Leeds will be implementing a Club Committee in 2026! 🥋✨

The previous committee was dissolved in 2020 during the Covid pandemic, and since then we have upheld the responsibilities of the committee within the team at Elemental Fitness. Now, we want to give our instructors and members more involvement in shaping the club, contributing ideas, and helping guide the future of Team EKA.

Why We’re Bringing Back the Committee

A Club Committee is a fantastic way for members to have a direct voice in the club, influence decisions, and help plan events, socials, and other initiatives. This return marks an exciting opportunity for our community to work together to make EKA even stronger.

Committee Responsibilities

Members of the committee will have set responsibilities, including:

Attending quarterly meetings to discuss club progress and plans.

Individual adhoc meetings when required for specific projects or initiatives.

Communicating with the Chair and Vice-Chair ad hoc to provide updates or feedback as necessary.

Committee Roles

The committee will consist of 10–12 members in total, with roles including:

Up to 2 Events & Activities Officers – plan and coordinate socials, fundraisers, and competitions.

Up to 3 Additional Committee Members – coordinate with club members to gather and share feedback with the committee, support the Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, and Membership & Communications Officer with club projects and initiatives.

All roles are voluntary, giving members the chance to contribute their time and ideas to help shape the future of Team EKA.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and proactive members who are committed to the club. Ideal committee members will:

Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience with Elemental Kickboxing Leeds.

Be able to attend quarterly and adhoc meetings.

Be confident in communicating ideas and feedback constructively.

Show team spirit and a passion for helping the club grow.

Be aged 14 and over.

This is a fantastic opportunity to share ideas, support the club, and help our community grow. Let’s work together to make 2026 our best year yet!
