Changes Ahead – Farewell to Ryan and Hello to New Opportunities
Wishing Ryan All the Best in His Next Chapter
As Ryan finishes his time with us at Elemental Kickboxing Leeds and Elemental Fitness, we’d like to take a moment to acknowledge his journey and contribution to the club over the years.
Ryan first joined Elemental as a member, showing early interest in both martial arts and fitness. From there, he progressed through an apprenticeship with us in gym instructing and personal training, demonstrating a clear commitment to developing his skills and supporting others in their training.
Following the completion of his qualifications, Ryan moved into full-time employment with Elemental, where he became a familiar face to many of our members—particularly within the children’s kickboxing classes. He played a key role in delivering our kids' programme, and his ability to connect with younger members.
More recently, Ryan transitioned into a subcontractor role to enable him to begin building his own business independently.
Ryan has shared some final words with the Elemental community:
"Dear All,
As I take a moment to reflect on my journey with Elemental Kickboxing Academy and Elemental Fitness, I’m filled with immense gratitude and pride for the time I’ve spent as both a coach and mentor within this amazing community.
From the very first session to the most recent class, it’s been a privilege to teach, guide, and grow alongside so many passionate and dedicated individuals. Whether you came through the doors to learn how to throw your first jab, push your limits in the gym, or earn your next belt—each of you brought something special to the mat, and it’s been an honour to be part of your journey.
Over the years, I’ve seen countless transformations—not just physically, but mentally. I’ve witnessed confidence grow, discipline develop, and strong bonds formed between students of all levels and backgrounds. Your commitment and energy have not only made my role fulfilling but also inspired me every step of the way.
To every student I’ve had the privilege to coach—thank you. Thank you for trusting me, challenging yourselves, and showing up with determination, even when it was tough. You’ve all contributed to the incredible atmosphere that makes Elemental such a special place.
As I move on to new chapters and challenges, I leave knowing that the future of Elemental is in strong hands—with coaches and members who truly embody the spirit of martial arts and fitness. I have no doubt that you’ll all continue to grow, achieve your goals, and support one another on and off the mat.
Wishing each of you the very best in your martial arts and gym journeys—stay strong, stay focused, and above all, keep enjoying the process.
Goodbye all.
With respect and appreciation,
What does this mean for Ryan’s classes?
Ryan’s departure does mean a few changes, particularly in the children’s kickboxing sessions he regularly led, and our Wednesday evening adults class. However, our coaching team is already working behind the scenes to ensure a smooth transition and continued high standards of training.
You can expect to see Ryan return to the club from time to time—and we’ll be sharing updates as new coaches step in and exciting changes are introduced.
Stay tuned for what’s next!
